Heavy-Duty Helm Assemblies
These combine one or two bi-directional axial piston
pumps with pilot check and make-up check valving. The
result is a unit that prevents rudder feedback, is very
efficient (even at low rpm) and is immediately adaptable
to multi-station use. Number H-21 has a 1" straight shaft,
and the H-25 has a 3/4", 1"/ft. tapered shaft.

SeaStar Power Assist
Hydraulic Steering Pump
This Power Assist unit uses an electronically
controlled hydraulic pump to provide steering
power to your SeaStar steering system. The
hand-operated circuit elements control the
hydraulic power element remotely to control
either a tiller or an outboard with optimum
precision. It's compatible with most steering
stations and most autopilots. In a typical
installation, the helm steering station has a
pump, which feeds the Power Assist unit in the
aft of the boat. The Power Assist unit increases
hydraulic pressure in steering lines for optimum control and responsiveness. In the
event of a power loss, the system will revert to a manual hydraulic system. Peak
operating pressure of 1000psi with average draw of 3A (Single Rudder OB) or 8A
(Twin Rudder IB), peak draw of 55A @ 12V.

easy installation and quick steering response. Six turns lock-to-lock. Balanced
cylinder is compatible with autopilots. 7" stroke, 24" overall when extended.

SeaStar Outboard Cylinders
Replacement cylinders for single engines up to 300hp and dual non-power-
assisted outboard systems up to 600hp. All cylinders allow independent trim
and tilt. HC5345 is the most common of the front-mount pivoting outboard
cylinders for SeaStar and SeaStar PRO steering systems. HC5342 Slide Plate
Cylinder fits Johnson/Evinrude 250-300hp V8 from 1988-1997.
